What is invisible solar?
Roofing material with the solar cell built directly into it, so you get the solar energy you have always wanted without changing how your home looks.
You may have seen other solar roofing products that try to do this. Most are an engineered material built to resemble a roof. Our flagship product is different: a concrete roof tile made by Voltaic, built on a roofing format that has protected homes for centuries, the same category as slate, used on the most demanding luxury homes, that also happens to generate power.
This is not a job for a general roofer or a general solar installer. It requires a roofing contractor who specializes in premium, designer roofing material like shake, slate, and concrete, working alongside photovoltaic design engineers, as one team. Sternholt is that team.

The Material
What you are seeing in those photos is a genuine concrete roof tile, the same roofing format that has protected homes for over a century, in the same category as slate. It has a proven lifespan of 50 years or more. The difference is that each tile is manufactured by Voltaic with a photovoltaic cell built directly into it, giving the roof the ability to fully offset a home's dependence on the traditional grid, quietly, and without looking like anything other than a roof.
Voltaic makes two products we install: ICON, a concrete tile, and Tycoon, a metal roofing panel. Both are genuine roofing materials first. Both generate power invisibly.
